| GDC Khour celebrates National Library Day | | |

KHOUR, Aug 13: Department of Library and Information Science Khour celebrated National Library Day to commemorate the 129th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India. An online quiz competition was organized for the students of GDC Khour to aware them about the work done by Dr. Ranganathan in the field of Library Science Education in India.
About 80 students participated in the quiz out of which 8 students scored full marks namely Abhimanyu Partap Singh (Sem. 2nd), Bhawani Dev Sharma (Sem. 6th), Sanjana Devi (Sem. 6th), Meenakshi Rajput (Sem. 6th), Gulshan Kumar (Sem. 6th), Sneha Manhas (Sem. 6th), Manisha Devi (Sem. 6th) and Roshan Lal (Sem. 6th).
The event was organized by Ms. Usha Kumari Librarian and Payal Bhagat under the guidance of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the College. |
