| Online symposium organized at GDC Bishnah | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 13: An online symposium on the topic "Chalo Yaad Karein Kurbani- remembering the sacrifice of our freedom Fighters" was organised by NSS Unit of GDC Bishnah on 13th August 2021 under the theme of "Azadi ka amrit Mahotsav". The programme was organised by Prof. Amit kumar Sharma, NSS Programme Officer under the patronship of Dr. Anuradha Pandoh, Principal of the college. The participants spoke about the significance of sacrifices of freedom fighters in attaining freedom Among the participants, Anmol Sharma of Sem-IV stood first, Vishesh Sharma of Sem-II stood second and Rakhi Jamwal of Sem-VI bagged third prize. Consolation prize was given to Tania Mehra of Sem-IV. The programme was judged by Prof. Rashmi Arya and Dr. Sapna Bhargav. Speaking on the occasion , Dr. Anuradha Pandoh appreciated the participation of the students in the symposium and exhorted them to follow the footsteps of our freedom fighters for the extension of liberty. |
