8/13/2021 11:38:04 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 13: Various political and social outfits on Friday staged anti-Pakistan protests a day after one minor was killed and six members of a family injured in a grenade attack in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Many political parties like BJP, Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal, Rashtriya Hindu Manch besides several social organizations, raised anti-Pakistan slogans and demonstrated in different parts of Jammu region.
The protestors demanded action against those behind the attack and a lesson to be taught to Pakistan for its evil designs to disrupt peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
At some places, protestors also burnt the flags of Pakistan and condemned the attack in the house of the BJP leader.
Union MoS Dr Jitendra Singh and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, have also condemned the attack.
Dr Singh said that terror attack on BJP Mandal President Rajouri Urban, Jasbir Singh's residence is highly condemnable. "It is a handiwork of those who have developed vested interest in not allowing democratic and political processes to flourish," he said.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said, "strongly condemn the cowardly attack in the house of a political leader in Rajouri in which a 2-year old child was killed & several others were injured".
"My deepest condolences to the family & prayers for early recovery of the injured. Perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice soon," said Sinha.
