| RM Public School celebrates Independence week | | |

Jammu, Aug 13: RM Public School observed the pre-Independence day function in the school premises. On the occasion, the school was tastefully decorated with the colours of our national flag.
The programme started with the presentation of token of love to our Director Rakshan Mengi by the Incharge, Arti Rajput. Token of respect was also presented to the representatives of Shiksha Niketan by the Incharge and Coordinators. This was followed by Vandana of Mother India and flag hoisting by the Director, Rakshan Mengi.
The cultural extravaganza included speeches by the teachers about the significance of independence. The teachers were dressed in traditional attires and expressed their thoughts in different languages. The cultural programme also included dances, songs and speeches by the teachers, office staff as well as the helping staff.
The theme of this year’s Independence-day is “Nation First, Always First”. This theme was highlighted in the speech given by respected Director as he talked about grooming the next generation and instilling the value of patriotism in our students. |
