| GDC Thanamandi observes Swachchta Pakhwara | | |

Rajouri, Aug 13: GDC Thannamandi in continuation with the weeklong celebrations of 75th Independence Day under the theme Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava organized Swachchta Pakhwada and also inaugurated Fit India Freedom Run 2.0. In the programme the NSS volunteers and NCC cadets participated in cleanliness drive in the college campus. The programme was conducted under the patronship of Prof. (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the college and coordinated by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, convener cultural and literary committee. Prof. (Dr) Nahim-Un –Nisa, NSS programme officer and Prof. Ajaz Nazir (ANO NCC) were the organizers. The programme started with the pledge taken by all the staff and students followed by the cleanliness drive in the campus. Prof.(Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal, encouraged the volunteers to keep their surroundings in and out of the campus clean as cleanliness is equal to Godliness. In addition to this resolve@75-Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 was also inaugurated staff members and students participated in the run for India in the college ground. |
