| Inter-college video blog competition organized | | |

Jammu, Aug 13: Government P.G. College for Women, Gandhinagar Jammu organised activities to celebrate 75th Independence Day under the aegis of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav'.
An Inter-college video blog competition on the topic "Say No to Single Use Plastics" was conducted on 12th August,2021. About 27 students from various Degree Colleges of Jammu Division participated in this activity with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Another event on 13th August,2021, marked this patriotic week was Plogging on the theme "Clean India Green India".The NSS Volunteers and 2J&K Girls Bn.NCC Cadets of the College actively cleaned the campus. They collected the waste in paper/cloth bags and disseminated the message of saving the environment by reducing the plastic use in our daily routine.
Dr. Sangita Nagari, the Principal of the College appreciated the students and motivated them to be part of such activities as maintaining clean environment is our moral responsibility. She acknowledged the efforts of organising committee - Dr. Sujata Slathia, Prof. Mala Bhasin, Prof. Suman Bala and Prof. Abhinav Sharma for their great teamwork. |
