Jammu, Aug 14: GDC Basohli organised an online competition on, “Independence Day Speech” to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, under the patronage of Principal, Dr. Nidhi Kotwal. In the welcome address, Dr. Shiv Mangal Singh briefed the function and talked about the significance and history of the independence. Ten students participated in the competition which was judged by Dr. R.K. Manhas, Dr. Prof. Pawan Kumar and Dr. Gotam Singh Lalotra. Among all the participants, Ms. Naina Sharma of semester 6 bagged first position, Ms. Sunita Shrama of semester 6 secured second position, and Ms. Isha Devi of semester 2 stood at third position.
The proceeding of the event was attended by the students of the college and the faculty members Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Prof. Pawan Kumar, Dr. Kehar Singh, Prof. Suresh Barwal, Dr. Shiv Kumar, Dr. Shiv Mangal Singh. |
