Inspection team recovers Rs 4600 fine from erring traders in Ramban | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Aug 18: Inspection team today recovered Rs 4600 fine from erring traders in Ramban during a market checking drive conducted in view of the ensuing festivals. The market checking squad led by the Chief Executive Officer, MC, Ramban, Vishwajeet and comprising Naib Tehsildar, Khilafwarzi Inspector, conducted market checking in Main Bazaar , Bus stand, Baoli Bazar, Cafeteria Morh, Masjid Market and Upper Bazaar and recovered the fine from erring traders for various violations and seized 18 Kg polythene. They also sensitised the shopkeepers especially milk & milk product sellers, meat & chicken sellers, vegetable & fruit vendors about extant rules and regulations. The officers instructed shopkeepers to display the rate list and sell commodities on the rates fixed by Department/Associations. Owners of Food Joints and Restaurants were instructed to use only commercial LPG cylinders. People belonging to these areas were also advised to approach the Department in case of any complaint. The Checking squad also checked implementation of Covid SOPs especially in public places.
