Rs 36000 fine imposed on 6 FBOs by AO Court for violating provisions of FSSA | | | eaRLY tIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Aug 18: The court of Adjudicating Officer (ADM), Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma, today imposed a fine of Rs 36 thousands on Food Business Operators, including retailer and supplier for violating the prescribed provisions/norms of Food Safety and Standard Act 2006 & Rules and Regulations 2011 made there under (FSSA). The complaint was filed before the Court of Adjudicating Officer/ADM Kishtwar against the erring FBOs. The court served the summons to both parties including the complaint/case. Both the parties appeared before the court where Adjudicating Officer Kishtwar heard concerned Food Safety Officer and Non-Complainants. The Non-Complainants party felt guilty for violating the provisions of 26/51/52/56 of FSSA on which the Adjudicating Officer imposed a fine of Rs 36000 under the general provisions of 49 of FSSA to 6 Food Business Operators (Non-Complainants).
