| Poster making competition organized | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 18: Red Ribbon Club of GDC, R.S Pura in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society (JKACS), H & ME Department conducted Online Poster Making Competition on the theme 'Blood Donation" under the guidance of Worthy Principal Dr. G.S.Rakwal and supervision of Prof. Swati, Nodal Officer, RRC.
A large number of students participated in the competition and made informative posters. Dixha Kumari of sem-2 stood 1st, Shakshi Rajput of sem-2 bagged 2nd position and Samariti Sharma of sem-2 got 3rd position. First three positions will be rewarded with cash prizes of Rs.1000/-, Rs.750/- and Rs.500/- respectively. E-Certificates will be awarded to all the participants. The Principal of the college congratulated the students. He added that young generation who are bit nervous and are uncertain of giving blood, to feel motivated to sign up and start donating blood so that population of donors stay strong. He appreciated the efforts made by the members of Red Ribbon Club of the college. |
