| BJP sarpanch arrested with pistol In Kulgam | | |

SRINAGAR, Aug 18: A BJP sarpanch has been arrested with a pistol by police in south Kashmir's Kulgam district, official sources said.
They said BJP Sarpanch namely Aqib Shafi Badar son of Mohd Shafi resident of Quimoh Kulgam was arrested along with the pistol from his residence in Quimoh area of the district.
A police officer told that further investigations have been initiated in this regard.
"He is presently being interrogated," a local news gathering agency quoted an officer. |
