JAMMU, Aug 22: On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organized a programme at their Head Office in which a number of women gathered and tied the Rakhi to the President of NGO Tariq Shah.
While briefing about the programme, the President of NGO Tariq Shah said," Today is the great festival of Rakshabandhan. Our NGO organised an event at our office with a motive to spread the message of brotherhood and communal harmony. Many women have come today and greeted for Rakshabandhan and have tied Rakhi which signifies lovely bond of love between brother and sister. We are fortunate that we live in a country that has the beauty of multicultural background.
We celebrate a lot of festivals here and our NGO also keeps sharing such moments of joy and happiness in different festivals.”
At this event along with President, Mohini Verma, Anju Devi,Neena Koul, Renu Kumari, Priya Devi, Shakuntala Devi and many others were present.
