Jammu, Sept 2: The Local Self Government Day was celebrated today in the institute at Jammu which is celebrated every year on the eve of birthday of the founder of the institute, C D Barfi Wala. A small but impressive function was organised in which the students, local people and employees of some departments participated. A lecture was also organised in which the life of the Founder Father was depicted. The Regional director, K. B. Magotra, of the Institute discussed about the Urban local activities of the Institute. On the occasion, the Marks certificates were also distributed amongst the successful candidates of Local Self Government and Sanitary Inspector Diploma Courses. The Regional Director, K. B. Magotra, Few students, members of the faculty Dr. Gandotra, Coordinator of the center Anubhav Gandotra, Ashwani Kumar, Members of Health Department and Municipal Corporation were also Present on the occasion to mark the day. |
