KATRA, Sept 8: Physical Director, Govt. Degree College, Thathri, Angrez Singh Parihar, delivered a lecture on National Sports Day, organized by the School of Languages and Literature, SMVDU.
The event was coordinated by Dr Anurag Kumar and Dr Ravi Parihar, Faculty, School of Languages and Literature, SMVDU. During the talk, Physical Director, Parihar, motivated the students of SMVDU, and encouraged them to participate actively in games and sports. He emphasized that the games and sports make us physically and mentally stronger than the non-participating ones. He also said that many universities offer academic courses in Physical Education, and even the students from poor family backgrounds may secure seats after qualifying the entrance exams. He answered the questions posed by students of SMVDU. The students got motivated, and learnt the significance of games and sports in life. The event was organized as the commemoration of Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
