| J&K reeling in dark era under BJP rule : Tony | | |

R S PURA, Sep 13: DDC member T S Tony today said that J&K is reeling under dark era since the BJP has taken over the reign of the country. Tony said that the parliamentary delegations are busy in appeasing Kashmiri people and are not bothered about the issues which the Jammu region is facing on account of age-old discrimination meted out by Kashmiri leadership since independence. He said that governance model of Ladakh under LG Mathur is much better than LG J&K as Jammu continued to face prejudice under his governance. Citing example of new Excise Policy of Ladakh which is beneficial for the people of the UT, he said that unlike Ladakh, J&K government’s Excise Policy marred the people of the UT and helped outsiders to flourish and dent the interests of the people of J&K. He said that unemployment is all time high under BJP rule.
