JAMMU, Sept 13: J&K Society for Promotion of Youth and Masses (JKSPM), State Level Coordinating Agency (SLCA) in collaboration with National Institute of Social Defense (NISD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, MOSJE GOI today organized one day workshop on “Drug Education” for school students of Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School, Lower Barnai, Jammu. Around 50 students participated in the workshop. Resource persons were Pooja Kumari and Shikha. As per National Action Plan on Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR), of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MOSJE), Government of India (GOI) programs like this needs to be conducted on a regular basis covering all strata of society. In workshop, different activities for students were organized which included letter writing knowledge, about how to approach higher authorities in case of any illegal activity or social issues in their own area or locality. |
