| SAMBO Association holds general body meeting | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 13: A General Body meeting of SAMBO Association of J&K was held at Hotel Ramada, Jammu under the presidium of Amit Vaid President and Aruna Sharma Bhau General Secretary of the Association. The meeting was attended by J&K UT Districts Sambo Association's President / Gen. Secretaries.
In the meeting Amit Vaid President of the Association informed that SAMBO Association of J&K is a affiliated unit of SAMBO India Association- who are already affiliated with the SAMBO Union of Asia (SUA)- International SAMBO Federation- FIAS. Moreover, the sports of SAMBO have been listed as one of the OCA recognized sports. He further added, during the 2021 full IOC recognition to International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) has been issued by the International Olympic Committee.
During the meeting, Ashwani Kumar Khajuria (KAS) was appointed as Chairman of the Association and Rahul Sharma (Advocate) as Legal Advisor.
Lastly, the vote of thanks was presented by Brijesh Bhau Chief Technical Director of the Sambo Association of Jammu & Kashmir. |
