AAP shows concern over spurt in militancy | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 13: Aam Adami Party (AAP) today expressed serious concern over rise in militancy in J&K UT. AAP Vice president Jammu-Poonch Parliament Constituency, Rajesh Gupta while addressing to the media` strongly condemned the brutal killing of Arshid Ahmad, Sub Inspector (SI) of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), at Khanyar locality in Srinagar. The probationary police officer was shot dead this afternoon by a militant from point-blank range. “I strongly condemn brutal killing of our brave heart Police Officer Arshad Ashraf Mir by terrorists. This is a handiwork of enemies of humanity & peace. His supreme sacrifice won’t go in vain,” said Gupta. He demanded stern action against the killers of slain SI. The AAP leader also showed great concern on the sudden spurt in militant activities in Rajouri and Poonch districts. |
