DDC chairperson holds public outreach programme at Krimchi, Mansar

UDHAMPUR, Sept 13: To take the review of developmental works and redress the grievances of general public of rural areas, District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand today conducted public outreach programme, here at Krimchi, Mansar.
The DDC Chairman listened to the demands and problems being faced by the public during the public outreach camp.
BDC Chairman, Udhampur Balwan Singh, BDC Chairman Panchari, Jeevan Sharma, DDC Councillor, Udhampur, Puran Chand, DDC Councillor, Tikri, Ashu Sharma, District Officers besides Sarpanches, Panches and general public of adjoining Panchayats participated in the outreach programme.
They projected scores of demands and sought release of pending MGNREGA payments, Establishment of Dispensaries, construction of Lane drain, bringing the area on tourism map, construction of veterinary building at Chak Rakhwalan, augmentation of drinking water in Panchayats facing shortage, renovation of roads, construction of foot bridge over nallah at Patti, Sanctioning of Health centre at Sambal Panchayat, repair of road from Happy Model school to Sambal, installation of street lights at Sial Jattan Panchayat, installation of Hand pump at Dhanori, repair of Canal at Hartyeen, meeting requirement of electric poles, opening of ATM branch at Mansar, construction of boundary wall of PHC Mansar, establishment of Niabat at Mansar, upgradation of Middle school to High School, construction of Primary School Building etc.
After listening to the demands and problems of the people, the DDC Chairperson directed the concerned officers to take concrete measures to address the genuine grievances of the people pertaining to their respective departments within stipulated time frame. He further directed the departments to organise awareness camp to aware the general public about various Government schemes so that they can avail maximum benefit of these schemes. The DDC Chairperson assured the general public that more such public outreach camps would be organized to solve the genuine problems of the people at their doorsteps.
Earlier, BDC Chairman Udhampur Balwan Singh presented welcome address and highlighted different centrally sponsored schemes. He asked people to come forward and take the benefit of centrally sponsored schemes launched by Govt of India for uplift of rural economy.
Local representatives and prominent citizens of the area thanked to DDC Chairperson for conducting the public outreach programme at such a remote area.
