Man falls to death from walnut tree in Baramulla | | | Early Times Report
Baramulla, Sept 14: A man died after falling from a walnut tree in border town of Uri in this north Kashmir, official sources said on Tuesday. This is the second such incident in the Kashmir valley, where death due to fall from walnut trees is being reported during the walnut harvesting season. On September 5 a man died after fall from a walnut tree in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. Sources said a 55-year-old man identified as Ghulam Mohammad Khokher, a resident of Balakote Uri climbed a walnut tree in Uri to collect walnuts when he suddenly slipped and fell down on the ground. However, he was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings. |
