JAMMU, Sept 14: GDC, Basohli organized an online seminar themed “Rajbhasha Hindi: Parivesh avam Paridrishya” on the occasion of “Hindi Diwas” under the aegis of “AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV”. The event commenced with the welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Nidhi Kotwal. She congratulated the participants on Hindi Diwas and welcomed the two speakers of the event. She also highlighted the significance of Hindi in our day-to-day life and communication. Prof. Brham Dutt, organizing secretary recited a poem on Hindi and addressed the participants on the worth of Hindi. He then briefed about the proceedings of the event. The first speaker, Dr. Raj Jamwal, Assistant Professor, GCW, Parade, Jammu, recited her poem on the importance of Hindi. She also stated that Hindi played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle of India. Dr. Gaurav Mani Tripathi, Achaarya, Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul, Katra, was the second speaker of the seminar. He deliberated on the history of Hindi and present day Khadi Boli Hindi. In his speech, he described the contribution of various writers in making Hindi a language of common man in India. |
