JKUTEUF demands roll back of disengagement order of SWD employees
9/15/2021 11:08:29 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15: JKUT Employees United Front (JKUTEUF), an amalgam of various Employees Unions criticized the wrongful attitude of UT J&K government for disengagement of 918 Social Welfare Department (SWD) employees. In a statement issued by Bhupinder Singh, Chairman of JKUTEUF, said that government is continuously harassing the employees unnecessarily which will not be tolerated.
Singh said that government disengaged poor employees of Social Welfare Department who were working within the department since 20-30 years and were playing a key role during their services as front line warriors against COVID-19 pandemic, but the UT govt instead of encouraging their efforts had ended their services.
Bhupinder Singh said that government should stopp these tactics against employees, if not, then the result will not be good in near future and JKUTEUF will come up with a strategy for giving a befitting reply. The chairman of the front reiterated that JKUTEUF is standing firmly with whole employees' fraternity.
He said that the government should immediately roll back the order of disengagement of 918 employees of Social Welfare Department.
Singh also demanded that government should fill up the vacant positions at different levels through JKSSB and PSC to provide an avenue of employment rather than termination of already existing employees and also should make an end to adhocism that had destroyed the system since decades. Meanwhile, Chairman JKUTEUF also took a serious concern of the matter wherein an ADDC is abusing his employees in district Kathua, the news of which is viral on different media news channel.
