JTC holds protest for non payment of relief

Jammu, Sept 15: Jagti Tenement committee (JTC),Soan kashmir front J&K have protesting for 348 days. Today a protest cum sit-in was held by the JTC, soan Kashmir front J&K under the Leaderships of its president Shadi Lal Pandita.Addressing the protesters Pandita said that the migrant relief holders have not yet received the monthly cash relief of the month of August due to which the relief holders are in a very difficult situation. If the cash Relief of Relief holders of the month of August were not released the thousands of Kashmiri pandits relief holder's be forced to protest on the National Highway ,Press club jammu and also infront of Raj Bhawan at Jammu from 18-9 2021. Pandita has said that we have been protesting for 348 days but the government is still not meeting our demands which should be resolved as soon as possible.Pandita said that the inflation is so high because of that the relief holders are not making ends meet.pandita has demanded from the government to increase the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs13,000 to Rs 25,000 as soon as possible so that the lives of poor relief holders can be saved. Pandita also said that the long standing issues of exiled Kashmiri Pandits should be resolved. He said a Package of 20,000 job's for unemployed youth should be announced. Out of these 20,000 posts, first one job should be given to those houses where no government job has been given till date.
Migrant youth should be recruited in the police force on the spot in the Jagti township and other migrant camps and Non camps. Compensation and with out interst bank loans should be given to over aged youth.32 years loss of properties should be given to property holders and landlords. Illegal occupation of land properties and religious places should be removed immediately. For political reservation five Assembly seats and three parliamentary seats should be reserved for Kashmiri Pandits. Kashmiri pandits should be given Minority status.
