| Akhnoor girls clinch all three age category finals of Kho-Kho | | |

Jammu, Sept 18: Akhnor Girls have clinched the finals of U/19, U/17 & U/14 years categories for Kho-Kho in Inter-Zonal District Level competitions at Government HS Jammu Cantt Satwari on conclusion day today.
Earlier, Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu organized Inter-Zonal District Level Competitions in the discipline of Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Carrom, Chess, Tug of war Girls section all age group concluded today here at GHS Jammu Cantt.
The tournament was organized under the chairmanship of Gazanfar Ali Director Youth Services & Sports J&K UT, under guidance of Jatinder Mishra, Dy Director Central YS&S Deptt and overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj. The main aim of the competitions is to select best players/teams for next level of competitions coming ahead.
On conclusion day today Dy Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu Jitender Mishra, was watching the final matches at the venue and appreciated all the winners and runner up teams for their best performance in this hot and humid weather. He also appreciated DYSSO Jammu and their field officers/officials, technical officials and organizing committee members of District Jammu for their well organization and well planned arrangements. Matches were officiated by panel of experts.
Kho-Kho U/19 yrs- Akhnoor zone beat Dansal zone by 1 pt
Kho-Kho U/17 yrs- Akhnoor zone beat Bhalwal zone by 3 pt
Kho-Kho U/14 yrs- Akhnoor zone beat Khour zone by 1 pt |
