| Lalded Women Welfare Society stages play “Roshni” | | |

JAMMU, Sep 18: Lalded Women Welfare Society under its Saturday series staged the play “Roshni” today at Jammu in presence of impressive gathering including eminent citizens.
The story of the play starts with the father who is retired major in the army. His son is studying abroad. He is coming back to India but on the way his car hit the truck, due to which he lost his eyes. His father contacted lots of doctors about the availability of eyes in the eye bank, but doctors said there are no eyes in the eye bank as these days no one is interested to donate his eyes. Then he realized that if he did not reject the offer of an organization who came to his home one day with an aim of making him as a eye donor, then his son might have seen the colours of this beautiful world.
This play makes an appeal to the young generation to come forward and donate their eyes for the needy blind people and support them.
The performances were played by Kanu Vaid, Varun Khajuria, Eklove, Karan Ranja and Naveen Pal. The purpose of the play was successfully delivered to the public.
