| PO IWMP Udhampur inspects ongoing Watershed developmental works at Bindla Satyalta, Barmeen | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 18: Project Officer, IWMP, Udhampur, Sapna Kotwal today inspected the status of ongoing developmental works here at Bindla Satyalta, Barmeen, Dhandal watersheds of IWMP-V, Barmeen Nallah project.
Accompanied by field functionaries during the visit, the PO inspected construction of Diversion drains, renovation of Bowlies and construction of rain water harvesting tanks which are under execution in these watersheds.
The works are of good quality and are beneficial to the poor and needy villagers.
The Project Officer interacted with watershed Committee members, villagers and educated them about benefits of the scheme.
The beneficiaries lauded the efforts of the IWMP department and requested the Project Manager for speedy execution of the pending works in these watersheds. |
