JAMMU, Sept 18: Annual Management Committee meeting of Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj (ABS) was held in the premises of Ravi Public School, Bhour Camp (Jammu) under the chairmanship of Col (Retd) R K Sharma, discussed agenda points and activities that will be carried out including celebration of national importance days, management of library, Police-public meet, Nasha Mukt Rashtra Darshan, plantation drive, medical camp, maintenance of accounts and publication of magazine, various public and social issues were also discussed.
In the meeting Gurdev Singh, President Jammu & Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee along with Munish Sharma, Deepak Prashar and Sumesh Raina inducted as members in the management whereas ex-ASI Mohinder Kumar Raina elected as cashier. Moreover, the services of Mukesh Sharma will be utilized as an accountant on a volunteer basis.
Prominent among others who participated in the meeting included Dr Charanjeet Sharma, Dewarka Nath Khajuria, Gulzar Singh, Parveen Kumar, Baldev Singh, Shashi Kant Khajuria and others. |
