JAMMU, Sept 19: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha has expressed concern over non- disbursement of relief to internally displaced relief holders. Chairman/ President of the Sabha Ramesh Chander Mahajan along with members expressed serious concern over non-disbursement of monthly cash relief in favour of internally displaced relief holders.
Mahajan said the relief department has failed to justify its deficiency and inefficient assignments that the share of relief holder fund account head is linked and included in the internal dispute of department in between of engineering wing as well as contractors, creating unnecessary harassment with the illegally stoppage and seizing of single operating public relief holder head account.
He said that many relief holders who are suffering from chronic ailments and need money to purchase the life saving drug also costly medicines and for paying other treatment fees as well as other need the same to pay monthly fees of their children's school and college, despite of increasing inflation in the commodities the meagre cash dole is not sufficient to meet up with day to day liabilities which has put to hardships to relief holders and delay in release of cash relief. |
