| Soan Kashmir Front protest completes 351 days | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 19: On the 351st day a sit-in was held by the Jagti tenement committee/Soan Kashmir Front. The protest was led by its president Shadi Lal Pandita. Addressing the protesters Pandita said the protest will continue till their demands are met.
He said our first demand is to release the monthly cash relief of the migrant relief holders ,which has been stopped since month of August 2021. Pandita demanded that the monthly cash relief of relief holders should be increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000. He said that the long standing issues of exiled Kashmiri Pandits should be resolved. He said a package of 20,000 jobs for unemployed youth should be announced adding that migrant youth should be recruited in the police force on the spot in the Jagti township and other migrant camps and non camps. |
