JAMMU, Sept 20: Shiv Sena and Dogra Front have extended support to the Jammu bandh call given by Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jammu.
Shiv Sena- Dogra Front president, Ashok Gupta urged that the Government should avoid pursuing narrow distributional goals as doing so would hit equity and hit average grade entrepreneurs, numbered in lakhs very hard. He stressed and asked the government to have well designed safety nets for the existing players and the most vulnerable.
He asked the govt to take immediate corrective measures redressing the genuine grievances of Jammu's business class.
He further stated that opening of the reliance stores would lead to the monopolisation of the retail and will affect the livelihood of the masses as most of the people in Jammu are businessman and traders.
A complete bandh will be observed by the Jammu trades against the reliance smart stores, he addded. |
