NDA organizes 31st COVID-19 awareness-cum-medical camp

JAMMU, Sept 20: Nations Development Association (NDA) J&K today organised 31st COVID-19 awareness -cum-medical camp at Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha Bishnah (SGRDS) in collaboration with Directorate of AYUSH J&K (ISM) where AYUSH Immunity Boosting drugs were supplied by Indian Systems of Medicines to locals through their expert team of doctors, following the guidelines issued by the local administrations.
The camp organised by Nations Development Association (NDA) was dedicated to the International Day of Peace. Over 200 people were checked by team of doctors of ISM deputed by Dr Suresh Sharma, ADMO, Jammu including Dr Veenu Gupta, MO AYUSH J&K and Vipan Khajuria. Earlier, awareness on COVID-19 was also conducted by a team of doctors.
The camp was inaugurated by Tehsildar Bishnah Sohan Lal Rana in the presence of Block Medical Officer (BMO), Bishnah Dr Rakesh Magotra, Chairman Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha Bishnah Er RC Bhasin, Vice Chairman Er Surinder Devgowda, President Former Chief Education Officer Sardari Lal and members SGRDS Bishnah, Chairman NDA Sushil Singh Charak, Local Sarpanch, Panchs, Sukanya Devi , Meenu Devi, Naresh Verma and COVID-19 Relief representative of civil society and local administration.
While inaugurating the camp the Chief Guest Tehsildar Bishnah Sohan Lal Rana appreciated the role of Directorate of AYUSH J&K, Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM) and NDA COVID-19.
In his address, Chairman Nations Development Association Paryavaran Ratna Awarded Sushil Singh Charak attributed the success of the camp to the spirit of Shri Guru Ravi Dass, Guru of the Nation..
He also expressed gratitude towards Indian Systems of Medicines J&K Director Dr Mohan Singh and all District ADMOs for their trust in NDA.On the occasion, team of doctors and members of the relief & response team were honoured by Nations Development Association.
