| JKCCTU opposes move to 'dismiss' government employees | | |

JAMMU, Sept 20: Mohammad Maqbool, National Secretary AISGEF & President JKCCTU has expressed serious concern over the union territory administration's recent arbitrary move to dismiss the government employees after attaining 22 years service or 48 years of age while taking the advantage of most draconian Article 311(ABC) and erstwhile State of J&K's Article 126 (AB).
Maqbool said the entire trade union moment though out the country and in Jammu and Kashmir has been opposing this anti employee article since long and demanding to repeal this article from the constitution. The union territory administration while claiming to get rid from the deadwood maintaining accountability and checking corruption and has started the repressive and suppressive measures to muzzle the voice of employees and trade Unions. |
