PTU supports bandh call | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 21: PTU extended full support and solidarity with the small, medium and self-employed shopkeepers, retail traders, who have given call for total bandh tomorrow in entire Jammu province in protest against the opening of 100 Reliance Fresh Stores here only to break back bone of small businesses. In a meeting here today at Transport Nagar, Jammu under the leadership of PTU J&K Ladakh General Secretary Neeraj Dewan and District President Jagdish Singh Baryal, Rakesh Gupta, Didar Singh, Romesh Kumar, Sonu, Devinder etc. criticized the local and national leadership of BJP and the Union Government for initiating all such economic activities which break the back bone of Jammu people. PTU said that opening of 100 retail stores in Jammu province alone by Reliance amounts to high cheating of small traders and self employed educated youth. This is fraud being committed with small businesses. The PTU meeting expressed full support and solidarity with the aggrieved and appealed to all sections of the society to support the bandh call. |
