Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 21: Expressing dismay over the delay in disbursal of amount sanctioned in favour of the health employees in appreciation of their services during Covid-19 pandemic, the Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) demanded to implement the Order No.360 JK (HME) in letter and spirit. Addressing a press conference here today, JKMEF president Sushil Sudan said that after lapse of 4 months not even a single penny is disbursed to the doctors and para medical staff. He informed that while appreciating the service of doctors and paramedical staff during Covid-19 pandemic, the government sanctions @ Rs10000 for doctors, Rs 7000 for paramedic and Rs 5000 for other staff vide Govt Order No 360 JK (HME) of 2021 dated 04-05-21. Delay in disbursement of incentives clearly create a breach of trust for those how remained dedicated during pandemic covid-19 and even some of them lost their lives while rendering there legitimate duties, he further said, adding that every employee of health department stands as iron pillar around the clock to fight against Covid-19. It is urged upon the government to implement its own order in letter and spirit and fulfill the commitment and also consider all categories of health employees who served the Covid patients. Those who attend the press conference included Parfulat Singh, Ch Jarnail Singh, RP Singh, Kamaljeet Sawhney, Mohd Nadeem, Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, Dharminder Singh, Pawan Singh Jamwal, Sanjay Dubey, Subash Choudhary, Choudhary Aslam Bahi and Tejinder Singh. |
