The killed terrorist Abid Rahid Dar was Pakistani trained terrorist who had crossed over the Wagah Border in April 2018 and had infiltrated back in the year 2019.
As per police records, both the terrorists were involved in planning and executing terror attacks on security establishments and civilian killings.

People are requested to cooperate with police till the area is completely sanitized and cleared of all the explosive materials, if any, said statement.

Defence sources said alert troops challenged heavy armed terrorists who were trying to infiltrate in Uri sector on Saturday evening.
"An encounter ensued between the infiltrating terrorists and the army in which 3 soldiers were injured. The operation is still going on in the area," sources said.
