| Kidnapped minor recovered within 48 hours; accused arrested: Reasi Police | | |

JAMMU, Sept 29: On 27-9-2021 a written complaint was lodged by Sandeep Suryavanshi S/O Santosh Suryavanshi R/O Chhatisgarh A/P Marhi that his sister (name withheld) aged 17 years who went to market for shopping and did not return back, he searched here & there but no clue found.
On getting this information case FIR no.193/2021 U/S 363 IPC was lodged at police station Reasi.
Sensing gravity of the crime SSP Reasi constituted special team of Reasi Police headed by PSI Kusum Sulakhiya for tracing of the minor.
Today the girl was recovered from Domana-Jammu from the custody of Dharminder Suryavanshi R/O Chhatisgarh who kidnapped the girl from Reasi.
The accused tried to flee from the spot was arrested by police party. After conducting medical examination of the victim through board of doctors and completing other legal procedures, the girl was handed over to legal heirs. |
