Bureaucratic system an impediment in progress of JK youth: Ajaz Jan | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 29: National Conference today said that the youth are real stake holders in the future of Jammu and Kashmir and it's through their energetic participation that Jammu and Kashmir can be propelled out from the heavy ruins it finds itself in. NC's provincial youth President Jammu, Aijaz Jan said this while addressing party workers, functionaries and office bearers here at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan here. Jan said that there is no restrain on the anti youth policies of the ruling dispensation, saying that the rampant disillusionment among JK youth draws on many things which include choking job avenues, widespread unemployment, looming insecurity, and wanton discrimination. "Our youth like their counterparts elsewhere in the world are bright. The only thing that sets them apart from their counterparts in the rest of the country and the world is the absence safer spaces to pursue their vocation. Besides that the insecurity in their own land remains a primary hurdle in the direction of their empowerment," he said. Jan said that the YNC is a wheel that generates the power and strength through which the party derives dynamism and strength. On the occasion more than 100 youth from Trikuta Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Nanak Nagar from BJP and Congress joined the NC fold. |
