DC sets deadline of October 2 for submission of pending assessment, acquisition papers

KISHTWAR, Sept 29: Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma convened a meeting of concerned Revenue Officers and NHIDCL authorities to review the progress of land acquisition and execution of work on National Highway (244).
ADDC Sham Lal; ACR Akhter Hussain Qazi; SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Parihar; DFO Kishtwar Sagar Singh; DFO Marwah Vijay Kumar; General Manager NHIDCL, Praveen Ahlawat besides representative DFO Doda, Tehsildars Mughalmaidan/ Kishtwar/Drabshalla/ Chatroo and AEE PWD (R&B) Chatroo, representative of CHO Kishtwar, heads of Executing Agencies besides concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed assessment of structures, assessment of Trees (Fruit and non fruit bearing), peg marking of the acquired land by NHIDCL, LB-10 Report and verification of 3(A) for additional land viz. Muck Dumping site /Machinery Installation etc.
Directions were issued to Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Chatroo by to submit the assessment of structures by October 2, 2021 and SDM Chatroo will monitor the progress.
The DC directed Tehsildars of Kishtwar, Chatroo and Drabshalla to submit the LB-10 report within three days.
Regarding verification of 3(A) for additional land viz. muck dumping site /Machinery Installation, the Tehsildar Drabshalla and Kishtwar were directed to submit the same within three days.
GM NHIDCL was directed by the DC Kishtwar to get the peg marking of the acquired land done within three days for smooth execution of the work on NH-244.
CHO Kishtwar was directed to submit the left out assessment of fruit bearing tree and DFO Kishtwar was directed to submit assessment of non fruit bearing trees as per record within three days positively.
The DC asked NHIDCL to manage dumping of muck material well and ensure the implementation of all the guidelines and parameters in the process of execution and widening work.
He further asked the concerned officers to maintain close coordination and work in tandem to facilitate the completion of projects of national importance.
