| Celebrations of Gandhi Jayanti begins at GDC Thannamndi | | |

JAMMU, Sept 29: Under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, series of events of celebrations of 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi inaugurated today at GDC Thannamandi. The programme was inaugurated with the lecture on the life of Mahatma Gandhi Ji by Prof. Fatima Qazi Head Department of Political Science. The programme was presided upon by the Principal of the college Prof (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. The series of celebrations are being organized by the Cultural and Literary committee in collaboration with the NSS and NCC units of the college. The welcome address was given by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, Convener, Cultural and Literary Committee. The programme was attended by all the staff members and the students of the college. The programme was ended with Vote of thanks by Prof. Khalid Rayaz. |
