DF&SS stages protest demonstration against killing of 3 civilians

JAMMU, Oct 6: The Kashmir Valley saw another spate of killings Tuesday evening, with three civilians - a popular chemist, a street food vendor, and a cab driver - being gunned down in separate incidents in a span of less than two hours.
Makhan Lal Bindroo (70), owner of Bindroo Medicate pharmacy in Srinagar’s Iqbal Park, was shot at from point-blank range inside his pharmacy. The second incident reported at around 7.30 pm, terrorists struck at Lal Bazar in downtown Srinagar and killed a street food vendor. He was identified as Virender Paswan, a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar. Within half an hour, another civilian, Mohammad Shafi, a cab driver and the president of a taxi stand, was shot dead in Bandipora. The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally in Jammu city against the killing of 3 civilians in valley by burning the Pakistan flag. Including the fresh spate of killings, five people have been gunned down in the Valley in the past four days. Makhan Lal Bindroo was a chemist shop owner who provided medicines to people and keep them alive. He was one of the oldest Kashmiri Pandits living here and never left. They killed him. They also killed a Muslim who was a transport business owner. Not only this, they also killed a street hawker from Bihar.
They are killing Kashmiri Pandits who have been promised that they will get their lands and homes back. Its a plot against Kashmiri Pandits by the ones who have encroached on the lands. They don’t want the Kashmiri Pandits to come back and become the rightful owners of their lands. They want to destroy this whole system that has been made for the Pandits.
