JAMMU, Oct 9: Rakesh Wazir, President, Federation of Hotels, Restaurants ,Industry & Commerce of Jammu region (FHRICJR) has said that some points being discussed in the meeting with union minister Ramachandran can act as bridge and can expedite the things and requested that with the coming up of new industrial policy it is expected that investment of more than Rs. 2000 crore around Katra Vaishnodevi including at places like Patnitop, Shiv Khori, Mantalai, Bhaderwah. He suggested that projects on Public Private partnership including Ropeways at Shiv Khori, Katra-Shankeracharya,water entertainment Park at Jhajjar Kotli, light & sound show at Katra and want that these and other similar projects are cleared at the earliest. He said that service sector and tourism in particular is the back bone of J&K and most of the business activity is related to service sector which consists of hotels, restaurants, houseboats, related to travel & tour business etc. |
