| BIS Jammu hold awareness programme on improving standards | | |

JAMMU, Oct 9: With an aim to promote standards in every sphere of society an awareness programme/workshop was organized by Directorate of School Education Jammu in collaboration with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Jammu at GGHSS Bakshi Nagar. The BIS has initiated a pilot study of introducing standard clubs in government schools of Jammu division in order to spread awareness among masses/customers through educational institutions considering them as major source of imparting and circulating knowledge/information.
The main aim of this event is to commemorate the forthcoming World Standards Day on October 14 with the theme “Shared Vision for a better World.” |
