Jammu, Oct 13: Navratri, the festival to pay obeisance to Goddess Durga, the epitome of strength and beauty, was celebrated in GDC Bishnah with series of competitions to create the religious sense among the students.
The events started with Kalash making competition on 9th October followed by Bhajan competition on 11th October and Mantra and poetry competition on 12th October.
The valedictory function was concluded with prize announcement and distribution of certificates among students.
Dr. Archana Bakshi, Prof. D.S.Manhas, Prof. Rashmi Arya and Dr. Sunil Kumar Saliada were members of the Jury. The programme was organized by Prof. Shivani Raina, Dr. Shallu Rani and Dr. Sapna Bhargav under the patronage of Dr. Anuradha Pandoh, the Principal of the college. |
