Jammu, Oct 13: NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura under Clean India Programme, an initiave of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav carried out cleanliness of Ranbir Canal, Miran Sahib under the patronage of Worthy Principal, Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer. About 20 students participated in the cleanup drive by picking up plastic items like wrappers, plastic bottles, and polythene etc.Deweeeding was also done by the volunteers along the sides of the canal. Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of NSS unit and volunteers and motivated them to keep on doing such activities in future also. |
