Shiv Sena protests against skyrocketing prices of vegetables | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 15: Leaders of Shiv Sena (Bala Saheb Thackeray) Jammu and Kashmir unit protested strongly against the skyrocketing prices of vegetables and almost all items of domestic necessity along with petrol, diesel and cooking gas and burnt the effigy of Ravan in the form of inflation. Shiv Sena leaders, led by party state president Manish Sahni, expressed strong anger against the central government proving to be unsuccessful in controlling inflation. The protesters sat on dharna by putting garlands of vegetables around their necks to drawing the government's attention to the rampant price rise. Manish said that the people are waiting for good days but are facing the worst days. The prices of all the items of domestic necessity including petrol, diesel, cooking gas, vegetables and fruits are on full boom. The Modi government is proving to be a complete failure in providing relief to the people. Due to the ever-increasing prices, the budget of the common people's kitchen has deteriorated.
