| Highest unemployment rate BJP's gift to J&K: Youth Federation | | Formulate appropriate youth policy for youth: Er. Gourav Salotra | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 16: "BJP led Union Government deserves applauses from the youth of J&K for gifting them highest unemployment rate among the other states and UTs of India" said Er. Gourav Salotra, Chief IT Cell and Executive Member, All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF).
He lambasted BJP led Union Government for their failure for providing job opportunities to the educated unemployed youth of J&K.
The AJKYF Chief IT Cell said that as per the latest report of Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), the newly created Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has registered the highest unemployment rate of 21.6 percent which is worst among all states and UTs in India. The unemployment rate of India is at 7.2 percent which means J&K has much higher unemployment rate than the national average.
He said that the unemployment rate in J&K has jumped from over 13 percent in August 2021 to 21.6 percent in September and J&K is the only region in India which has over 20 percent of unemployment rate which clearly shows that Union Government is misleading the public at large by making false statement of developing and giving job opportunities to downgraded state of J&K.
Salotra added that unrest among the youth of J&K is being increasing day by day as number of youth are coming towards street with their grievances by holding protest against the central government and UT Administration and now its a high time for all the youth of J&K to come forward unitedly to reach the deaf ears of the government and administration to redress their grievances and provide employment opportunities to the youth of J&K and also appealed the youth of J&K to come under one banner to raise all their demands in one voice.
The AJKYF Chief demanded formulation of appropriate youth policy for the downgraded state of Jammu and Kashmir considering both the regions equally and also appealed the Union Government to redress the grievances of the graduate, post graduates, professional, Ph.D degree holders for their genuine demands. |
