Bhullar lambasts union govt for dip in India's rank in Global Hunger Index | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 16: Nimrandeep Singh Bhullar, General Secretary J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) while expressing shock over the dip in India's rank in Global Hunger Index from 94 to 101 lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre alleging that it is responsible for this retrogression. In a statement issued here, the JKPYC General Secretary lamented that what could be more shameful for the people of the world's largest democracy than the fact that this nation of ours is today even lagging behind the petty neighbours like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Quoting the Global Hunger Index (GHI) report, Nimrandeep Singh said that India has slipped to 101st among 116 countries from its 2020 ranking of 94. |
