| Rotaract Club starts anti-dengue drive in Akhnoor town | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 16: Amid a spike in dengue cases Rotaract Club Akhnoor with sponsorship of Neel Kanth Health Care today launched anti-dengue drive in Akhnoor town. The thermal fogging drive will be carried out in all 13 wards of Akhnoor. Surinder Sharma President Municipal Committee Akhnoor, Varun Jandial SDPO Akhnoor and Hilal Azhar SHO Akhnoor flagged off the anti-dengue drive.
Speaking on the occasion Karun Gupta Vice President Rotaract Club Akhnoor and Vivek Gupta said that people of Akhnoor need to join hands and work together to fight against dengue. "The rainy season is here again and we all know that at this point, the breeding of mosquitoes that spread dengue is at a peak. We have to save ourselves and our family from dengue," they said.
Rajesh Bhalla President Rotary Club appealed the residents of the town to co-operate for the prevention of dengue and said that the Rotaract Club on its own is making continuous efforts in this direction. |
