| Udhampur COVID- 19 free campaign: GDC Ramnagar organizes online lecture | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Oct 16: To commemorate Udhampur COVID-19 free campaign NSS Unit of GDC Ramnagar organized online lecture on ‘COVID 19 Prevention and Safety Measures’ under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav through online mode. The event was organized under the patronship of Dr Udhey Bhanu, Principal GDC Ramnagar.
The purpose of the lecture was to create awareness among the masses regarding the need to develop immunity to fight CORONA, to bust the myths and fake news related COVID 19, to remove stress and negativities and the necessary SOP guidelines.
The resource person, Dr Prayarana Sharma, Medical Officer AYUSH, presently posted at Ayurvedic Medical centre Chowki demonstrated how Ayurveda can help to boost our immunity during this pandemic. She also elaborated the necessary Ayurvedic herbs like tulsi, Giloy, Ashwaganda etc and their proper dosages.
Dr Sharma also showed various ayurvedic immunity boosters like Ayush Kwath powder, ashwagandha tablets and Swamla which are available for students from Ayurvedic medical centre free of cost.
She also emphasized students to follow breathing exercises and pranayama assans to keep themselves physically as well as mentally healthy.
The students and teachers attentively listened to the lecture and agreed to adopt necessary steps to make Covid free India.
The volunteers were also involved in query session in which they ask questions related myths of vaccination and precautions related pre and post vaccination. |
