JAMMU, Oct 17: Kshatriya Sansad, a social organization for the welfare of Rajputs was launched today. The members while talking to the media persons told that there is disarray, lack of vision and no road map for well being of the community and also received numerous representation from various members of the community. There is a dire need of an organization which can take care of overall development of the masses of the community, especially economically weaker section as well as the people living in far flung rural and hilly areas. Therefore, the members after detailed deliberations have come up with an idea to constitute an organization by the name of “Kshatriya Sansad” which will hand hold the community especially in the remote areas where they are being deprived of basic education, lack of medical care and unemployment.
The Kshatriya Sansad will provide free skill education to the deserving students which will lead to their employability, organize medical camps in villages and far flung areas, in addition of taking care of well being of the community. The Kshatriya Sansad will also apprise the general public especially the Rajputs about the very vibrant and glorious history of Dogra Rajputs with the aim to boost the morale of the community.
To start with, the Kshatriya Sansad will provide 50 seats to community students in different streams like MBA, BE, B.Sc Nursing, B.Ed, Paramedical courses, etc totally free of cost and take it further, the Kshatriya Sansad shall provide 200 seats every year to community students. Further it was told in the press conference that shortly the organization will come up with its Vision Document and its working will be visible in every nook and corner of J&K.
